Animal Forest Portable



Animal Forest is best described as a mixture between Harvest Moon and a classic game compilation -- an every-day life adventure set in a whimsical fantasy world. Everything starts off on a train where you are introduced to the first of many animal characters that populate the village you are about to move into. Upon hearing that you don't have a place to stay yet, your new-found friend calls a buddy of his from the train to ensure that you will have a roof over your head the moment you arrive. And sure enough, the train pulls into the station and a bipedal Tanuki (presumably to be called Tom Nook if the GameCube sequel every arrives in the US) welcomes you to... well, whatever you decided to name your own personal town on a disc. (In case you're new to Japanese fauna, a Tanuki is an animal found in Japan's forests. Although it looks like a mixture between a raccoon and a badger, it's more familiar to the Japanese in the form of its fairy tale counterpart, a hat-wearing creature that likes to drink Sake and plays tricks on people. But don't worry, Animal Forest's Tanuki is a very trustworthy fellow ¿ not to mention helpful). The Tanuki then offers you to buy one of four houses. Since you don't have much cash but look honest and needy, he loans you the money with the understanding that you pay him back and help out in his shop.

The helicopter action game, casts players in the role of Captain William Blade, the plastic toy pilot of several plastic toy helicopters. Real-world settings include backyard, playgrounds, campgrounds and giant sandcastles, spread out over 16 one-player missions. the roster of enemiess include toy robots, electric trains, killer bees, dragonflies and lawn sprinklers. Interactive environments will allow players to pick up and use objects like soda cans, doughnuts and chicken legs. Cooperative and competitive multiplayer game modes including Flag-Nab-It, Air Rescue, Food Fight and Bug Hunt.

SH2 starts where SH left off. It is announced that the capture of field marshal Tannenburg will end the war. Since General Plastro has disappeared, it is suggested that he has become a victim of plastrification and been trapped in the real world. The game introduces Bridgette Bleu, a spy for the Blue Nation. She has developed a serum that reverses plastification. Your job as Sarge and sometimes Vikki is to destroy serum, eliminate Tan soldiers, and capture Plastro and Tannenburg (and as Sarge you sometimes have to rescue Vikki as she has a knack for getting into trouble.)
The game goes between Sarge's 'realistic' world and our world, in which Sarge is the size of a typical plastic Army Man soldier. It features many interactive effects, such as breakable wine bottles, bustable soda cans and music that spikes in intensity when enemies attack

The sequel to Army Men 3D. You play Sarge, a green soldier, in their war against the dirty Tans. As Sarge, you'll be gathering up an elite unit to aid the greens in their effort. Not much has changed since the first game. It is now a third-person action shooting game, as opposed to the top-down view from before. You'll still run around shooting up the Tan guys in every level, using a variety of military weapons to defeat them.

These weapons include, but are not limited to your standard rifle, mines, grenades, rocket launchers and the sniper rifle. Each weapon has a time when it will be especially useful, such as when fighting enemy tanks. Speaking of tanks, you, too, can drive one. Ammo is scattered around the level, sometimes hidden so as to make you work for it. However, all your weapons except your default rifle, will disappear at the beginning of every new level. Bummer.

The guns in the game rely on auto-aim. Because of this, some people feel that it is a lot easier than the last game. However, the games poor camera should be a big enough obstacle to get around to provide some challenge.

utomobili Lamborghini is a racing video game by Titus Software, similar to the Need for Speed series of games. The Japanese version was distributed by Taito and has actual pictures of various models of Lamborghini with their names displayed before the demo screen. These photos and descriptions were deleted for the U.S. release.

There are 4 modes of play: Championship, Single Race, Arcade and Time Trial. In a race, if the players' cars run out of fuel or has their tires worn down, they are urged to take a pit stop where they engage in a brief minigame. Automobili Lamborghini featured nine cars that resembled actual supercars. These resembled cars such as the Porsche 959, Ferrari F50, Ferrari Testarossa, Dodge Viper, the McLaren F1, and the Bugatti EB110, that could be unlocked by winning championships. These were joined by the two default cars, which resembled the Lamborghini Countach and Lamborghini Diablo.

The game has reasonably good graphics and adventurous racetracks, however the realism of speed and control for the cars was a major criticism.

Contrary to the title, this game has nothing to do with bass guitar playing. Bass Master 2000 is a Nintendo 64 exclusive fishing simulation. The game does it's best to accurately portray fishing, except with magical underwater angles and famous fisherman Shaw Grigsby giving commentary in your ear. You'll fish on real lakes, catch real fish, in realistic areas of the lake depending on the time and weather. The controls are intuitive and the settings force you to learn the essentials of fishing.

There is, unfortunately, no Fish vs Fish capture the flag mode of any sort.

With Grand Theft Auto III, Rockstar proves that not all developers are concerned with toning down the violence in their games. As in real life, there are consequences for your criminality. As your random acts of mayhem mount up, the police start hounding you, eventually calling in SWAT trucks, the FBI, and even the army if you continue down the path of destruction. Shaking these pursuers is easily the most fun part of the game, especially when a bunch of friends are packed in the room to witness your narrow escapes.

Grand Theft Auto III is fine-tuned to near perfection in every category. All the vehicles, from slick sports cars to lumbering dump trucks, handle exactly as you'd expect and smash apart realistically when abused. The three islands in the game are rendered in terrific detail considering their size, and are packed with traffic, pedestrians, and hidden jumps. The audio is equally amazing. Pedestrians talk, cops scream at you, and you can tune in nine different radio stations whenever you are in a car. It all adds up to a monumental achievement: the rare console game for adults that manages to get everything right.

Portal
Portal is a new single player game from Valve. Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal has been called one of the most innovative new games on the horizon and will offer gamers hours of unique gameplay.
The game is designed to change the way players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment; similar to how Half-Life 2’s Gravity Gun innovated new ways to leverage an object in any given situation.
Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to maneuvering objects, and themselves, through space.
